Nestled in the vibrant heart of Hanoi at 8 P. Ly Quoc Su, Lotus Blanc Cafe Restaurant effortlessly encapsulates the charm of the city's Old Quarter. This cafe, with its inviting atmosphere, invites coffee lovers and food enthusiasts alike to indulge in a delightful experience that marries both Western and Asian delights.

The cafe's interior is a beautiful blend of traditional Vietnamese aesthetics and modern comfort, making it an ideal spot for a quick coffee break or a leisurely meal. The welcoming decor is complemented by a cozy ambiance, encouraging you to unwind while soaking in the lively sights and sounds of Hanoi's bustling streets. Whether you choose to sit inside or on the enchanting balcony, you'll be treated to a picturesque view, perfect for people-watching as the city rushes by.

Lotus Blanc is particularly renowned for its espresso and exceptional egg coffee, which has garnered rave reviews. Kirst Scott’s experience captures this perfectly, as she describes it as "the best egg coffee" she’s had in Vietnam. The rich, creamy texture combined with a frothy topping creates a sensory experience that is not to be missed. The selection of other beverages—including various coffees and fresh smoothies—further adds to the appeal. Many patrons, like Elina Rindle, have enjoyed delectable drinks while taking in the lovely sights from the balcony, describing the atmosphere as "very charming."

However, it’s worth noting some contrasting feedback regarding the food. A few customers have pointed out that while the menu features a wide selection, the taste may not always meet expectations, suggesting that the kitchen might not fully cater to unique requests. For those seeking an authentic street food experience, you may find the prices here somewhat above average, as echoed in customer ‘J’s review. While a meal may seem steep compared to Hanoi’s famed street food, the quality of the coffee and the cafe's atmosphere often justify the visit.

If you're looking for a serene spot amidst the city's hustle, Lotus Blanc Cafe Restaurant offers a peaceful retreat. Devinda Senarath highlights how the ambiance allows visitors to enjoy a quiet coffee while restfully watching the fast-paced city life. Given that this space is complemented by friendly service, you are bound to feel welcomed and appreciated, making it a worthy addition to your Hanoi itinerary.

Whether you're a local or a visiting traveler, Lotus Blanc Cafe Restaurant is not merely a cafe—it's a delightful escape into the sensory pleasures of coffee and culture in one of Vietnam’s most enchanting cities. Don’t miss the opportunity to savor a cup of their famous egg coffee and experience the warm hospitality this gem has to offer.

[Plus] Wide variety of western & asian selection. Various coffees' selection. [Downsides] Not able to understand special request. Can only order dishes as in the menu. Taste below average. Pricey! Despite high inflation in city of Hanoi, still it is considered overpricing. I have spent more than half million of VND with a standard 3 pax meals yet it tasted like street foods.

Best egg coffee I've had in Vietnam. Lovely to sit out the front downstairs, or upstairs on the balcony overlooking the street. Staff are super friendly, I was excited to come back here when we came back to Hanoi.

Very charming, little café in the old quarter. We ordered a coffee and a coconut smoothie and sat on the balcony on the second floor from where we had a beautiful view on the rustle and bustle of the streets. Very great experience and they even accepted card which was a plus!

A quiet coffee shop located in the heart of Hanoi. There are lots of big name coffee shops on the same street such as Eggyolk Coffee which cast its shadow over the smaller coffee shops like this one. However, Lotus Blanc has a delicious Egg Coffee and it was served with a smile. You can enjoy watching the fast paced city in your quiet, peaceful corner.

I'm at one of this cafe street ; 8 P. Lý Quốc Sư, Hàng Trống, Hoàn Kiếm, Hà Nội now. It is so busy and chaotic with traffic and people. A street of about 250m already have about 10 cafes and most of them are crowded. There's a couple of beautiful cafe which is full house. An amazing atmosphere beyond my imagination. Stopped by this café which is surprisingly quiet.

Absolutely Amazing place. The smoothies were outstanding, very fresh. We went there several times during our stay in Hanoi. The lady was very welcoming and kids loved it. We started every day off with a visit to this place.
